Scipture of The Day
Titus 1:15
Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
Ever got frustrated with a friend or family member who just couldn't see things your way? Especially when it pertained to righteousness and the scriptures? We as Israelites have to accept that unfortunately the people around you is not going to see things the way you do. This is definitely a spiritual battle and a hard grueling one at that. The scriptures say that we must be patient and endure and I believe that it also goes for trying to wake up friends and family. We do what we can and the rest if left up to The Most High. In the meantime, we have to accept the harsh fact that most of our brethren and sistren are defiled spirits; completely oblivious to this truth. The more you seek The Most High through Christ, study the sciptures and follow the laws to the best of your ability, the more pure you will become. You become a clean spirit who is able discern and find the impurities of others (1 Corinthians 2:15).
Most people wouldn't knowingly drink impure water, injest impure foods or medicine or use contaminated products. Especially when you can clearly see those impurities. If that is the case, the same should apply to the impure, defiled individuals around us! We have to learn how to cast out those spirits so that those impurities won't latch on to us and cause us to fall. This may sound harsh when it comes to dealing with friends and family, but one thing you have to ask yourself is ; would you rather be on the bad side of an unrepentant relative, or on the bad side of The Heavenly Father?
