Scripture of the Day
Ecclesiasticus 34:1
The hopes of a man void of understanding are vain and false: and dreams lift up fools.
I thought this was a great scripture to briefly touch on the 50th anniversity of the march on Washington D.C. Half a century later and the children of Israel is still at the bottom of the totem pole. This is the end result when we choose to follow the vain ideals of men instead of following The Most High and Christ. Dr. King's visions were very contrary to what The Heavenly Father had planned for us and this is why he was ultimately put to death.
When you go contrary to the scriptures and lean to your own understanding, it shows you lack wisdom and truth. Dr. King lacked the wisdom and understanding of the scriptures, which led all of his followers astray. He was exalted as someone worth idolizing and his messages deceived many of our people. So this is why 50 years later, our people are foolishly trying to keep this man's false dream alive. What's scarier is that many have yet to realize that that dream will not come into fruition; mainly because we are not meant to prosper in this wicked society and because ultimately it is not the LORD's plan. We do not have the power of change what The Most High has in store for us, but we do have the ability to humble ourselves and obey HIS commandments.
So unless its according to scripture, be very wary of man's hopes, dreams, visions and plans for the future. Don't be led astray by soothsayers, pastors, deacons, politicians or motivational speakers. If its not of The Most High, then its vain and unprofitable.
2 Esdras 5:12
At the same time shall men hope, but nothing obtain: they shall labour, but their ways shall not prosper.
