The Downfalls of Pride

When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom. Proverbs 11:2

Although being in this truth is a blessing, you will easily find that either yourself or others are still a work in progress. We are all constantly fighting to get rid the traits that are not of The Most High. One thing I noticed about fellow brothers and sisters is that they have a lot of pride. Its like they've been in the truth for 2 hours and now all of a sudden you can't correct them or share things with them. They already have their VIP tickets to the charriots -_____-

While I believe it is important to take pride in knowing that you're an Israelite, we should never be too proud to be around each other, to be corrected or to receive council.

For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. Galatians 6:3

What the proud fail to realize is that they themselves are nothing without The Most High. We are all just living vessles that are here to serve a purpose for the Creator. Some were created to be wicked, while others are here to do righteous acts. This is why it is important to remain humble, especially around our own. We are not to march to the beat of our own drum, but to the drum of The Most High and Christ...in righteousness.  One thing I noticed about the prideful is that they can't see their own faults. Not admitting when they're wrong is a huge trait of theirs. Instead of humbling down, they would rather be simple and go back and forth with anyone who goes against them, just for the sake of being right in their own eyes...

Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? there is more hope of a fool than of him. Proverbs 26:12

Everyone who is arrogant in heart is an abomination to the Lord; be assured, he will not go unpunished. Proverbs 16:5

As repenting Israelites, we need to figure out our priorities. Being the "know it all" and the "can't tell me nothing" Israelite is definitely not the route that The Most High has set for us. Remember, being proud was one of the reasons why we fell as a nation; because we didn't have time to hear the correction and wanted to be wise in our OWN eyes, deviating from the commandments. I think one of the biggest mistakes Israelites make is that because they know the scriptures and know that they are an Israelite, that they are untouchable and above reproof. This is a very dangerous attitude to have because just like The Most High have raised you up, HE can quickly bring you down

One thing you have to ask yourself; are you in this truth seeking the Kingdom, or are you seeking to be proud and haughty? The purpose of all of us waking up is to come together as a nation to prep ourselves for the kingdom ahead. We can't become fit for the Kingdom if everyone has a proud, haughty spirit that clashes with each other. We may disagree on things, but all of it must be done with rightousness and according to scriptures. As we all know, when it comes to scriptures opinions and feelings don't matter. the same goes for pride. It is not about who's right but what is right. We are all in the same postion; repenting Israelites trying to get closer to the Father through His Son.

For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity. Ecclesiastes 3:19

On the flipside,we have Israelites that's too prideful to ask for guidance or seek help. In this truth, we should not have that type of spirit where we feel as if we can't come to each other for assistance. Its bad enough we have relatives in the world that make us feel bad about asking ofr help. So why not seek help from brethren and sistren that are in the spirit of Christ? Should you risk being put in a horrible situation just for the sake of saying that you didn't ask for a handout and made it on your own? That's beyond foolish! Remember to use WISDOM.

A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.  Proverbs 29:23
